Knock Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL







1. Remove the coolant expansion tank bolt.







2. Detach the coolant expansion tank from the clip and secure to one side.







3. Detach and secure the power steering reservoir to one side.







4. Disconnect the Knock Sensor (KS) electrical connector.







5. Remove the KS (exhaust manifold removed for clarity).

INSTALLATION







1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
