Removal & Installation
- Ensure upper intake manifold, fuel lines, brackets, fuel pressure sensor and wiring harnesses are disconnected before removing lower intake manifold. See UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD . Remove 6 bolts retaining lower intake manifold. Remove and inspect both lower intake manifold gaskets. Replace if necessary.
- To install, place lower intake manifold onto lower intake manifold gaskets. Working from center of lower intake manifold outward, tighten lower intake manifold bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
