Pinpoint Test D: The Illuminated Entry Is Inoperative When Using The Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) Transmitter

  1. D1 CHECK THE DOOR LOCK OPERATION USING THE RKE TRANSMITTER 
    • UNLOCK and LOCK the doors using the RKE transmitter.
    • Do the vehicle doors unlock and lock using the RKE transmitter? 
    1. Yes  : Go To PINPOINT TEST A: THE INTERIOR LAMPS ARE INOPERATIVE  .
    2. No  : REFER to HANDLES, LOCKS, LATCHES AND ENTRY SYSTEMS to continue diagnosis of the RKE system.
