Removal and Installation

CAUTION:
Prior to removal of the driver door module (DDM), it is necessary to upload module configuration information to a diagnostic tool. This information needs to be downloaded into the new module once installed. For additional information, refer to

- Remove the driver door trim panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Remove the screws.
- Release the locking tab and remove the driver door module (DDM).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Check for correct operation.
CAUTION:
If a new DDM is installed, it is necessary to download the module configuration information from the diagnostic tool into the new module. For additional information, refer to
