Test C: Switch Logic Malfunction
- Disconnect malfunctioning mirror harness connector. Measure voltage or resistance at appropriate terminal of mirror harness connector with mirror control switch of appropriate position. See MIRROR CONTROL CIRCUIT SPECIFICATIONS
table. If voltage and resistance readings are not as specified, go to next step. If voltage and resistance readings are as specified, replace appropriate mirror motor.MIRROR CONTROL CIRCUIT SPECIFICATIONS

Do not disconnect switch connector. Backprobing connector, measure voltage or resistance between ground and specified terminal on mirror control switch connector while moving switch to specified position. See REAR VIEW MIRROR CONTROL CIRCUIT LOGIC TESTING
table. If voltage and resistance is not as specified, repair appropriate circuit. Recheck system operation. If circuit logic is as specified, replace mirror control switch. Recheck system operation.REAR VIEW MIRROR CONTROL CIRCUIT LOGIC TESTING
