Symptom Perform Test
No Communication With Instrument Cluster A 
Theft Indicator Is Always/Never On-Theft Indicator Will Not Prove out B 
Vehicle Does Not Start-Theft Indicator Proves Out As Normal (1)
Anti-Theft System Does Not Operate Properly- Vehicle Starts But Flashes A Fault Code C 
Anti-Theft Number Of Programmed Ignition Keys Is Below Minimum D 
Antenna Not Connected Or Defective Transceiver E 
PATS Ignition key Transponder Signal Not Received F 
PATS Received Incorrect Key-Code From Transponder G 
PATS Received Invalid Key-Code Format From Transponder H 
PATS Transceiver Signal Is Not Received I 
Security Identification Does Not Match Between Instrument Cluster & PCM J 
NVM Configuration Failure K 
(1) Using NGS tester, perform instrument cluster self-test. If any DTCs exist, perform appropriate test in accordance with DTC(s) received. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER DTC INDEX  table under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. If no DTCs exist, check for other possible causes of vehicle not starting.
