Mirror Control Switch

NOTE: Vehicles produced after 8/20/01 are late production models and have the power folding mirrors as standard equipment.

Remove mirror control switch. See MIRROR CONTROL SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Measure resistance between specified terminals while operating switch in appropriate direction. For vehicles produced before 8/20/01, see MIRROR SWITCH TEST (EARLY PRODUCTION)  table. See Fig 1. For vehicles produced after 8/20/01, see MIRROR SWITCH TEST (LATE PRODUCTION)  table. See Fig 2. Resistance in all tests should be 5 ohms or less. If switch fails any portion of test, replace memory set switch.
