Driver Seat Module: Notes

WARNING:
On models equipped with side air bags, system must be deactivated. To deactivate air bag system, disconnect negative battery cable and wait one minute. Air Bag Simulators (40-009) must be connected to all air bag floor connectors. After diagnosis/repair, air bag simulators must be removed prior to operating vehicle.
NOTE:
It is necessary to upload module configuration of Driver Seat Module to New Generation STAR (NGS) tester, or equivalent scan tool, prior to module replacement. After new module is installed, download configuration data to new module.
