Sun and Shell Assembly - Disassembly: Assembly

    NOTE: The one-way clutch assembly must be assembled in a specific order.
  1. Assemble the one-way clutch.
    1. The lower cap lip must face up.
    2. The low one-way clutch outer race groove must face up.
    3. The low one-way clutch shoulder must face up.
    4. The upper cap lip must face down.

  2. CAUTION: The outer race must rotate counterclockwise. Make sure end caps are fully seated.
  3. Install the low one-way clutches as an assembly with the groove facing up.
    1. The groove in the one-way clutch outer race must face up when installed.
    2. The one-way clutch outer race must rotate counterclockwise when installed correctly.
