Removal and Installation

    CAUTION: Electronic modules are sensitive to electrical charges. If exposed to these charges, damage may result.
    NOTE: Prior to removal of the navigation system module, it is necessary to remove the digital versatile disc (DVD) from the navigation system module and store in the customers case.
  1. Disconnect the battery. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
  2. Remove the left rear luggage compartment trim panel.
  3. Remove the rear luggage compartment trim panel.
  4. Remove the navigation system module.
    • Remove the 4 bolts.
    • Disconnect the electrical connectors.

  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
