Navigation Audio Control Module (ACM) Self-Diagnostics

The navigation system provides on-board diagnostics to assist with diagnosing a concern. To carry out self-diagnostics, do the following:
Press and hold preset buttons 3 and 6 simultaneously for 3 seconds.
Press the "End Test" icon on the screen to exit the speaker walk-around test.
The following options are available using the on-screen buttons:
- On Demand Self Test: provides internal self-test diagnostics and displays all the DTCs resulting from the self-test.
- View DTC's: provides a list of all DTCs currently stored in memory.
- Configuration Status: displays the current navigation ACM configuration.
- System Info: displays the navigation ACM part number and software information.
- GPS Info: provides satellite and current vehicle information.
- Speaker Walk Test: performs the speaker walk-around test.
- Multi-disc Test: checks the status of the CD player mechanism.
- Display Test: allows checking of the screen colors, and allows checking individual sectors of the touch screen.
- Hardkey Test: provides the status (active/not active) of the ACM buttons and touch screen.
- Radio Signal Strength: tests the antenna signal.
- Exit Diagnostics: exits diagnostics and returns to the main navigation screen.
- If the concern remains and the fault is not detected, go to Symptom Chart - Navigation to continue diagnostics.
