Test H: Set/ACCEL Switch Is Inoperative

NOTE: See WIRING DIAGRAMS  for circuit repairs. After each service or repair procedure has been completed, reconnect all components.

Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect speed control servo/actuator 10-pin harness connector C171 (located at right rear of engine compartment). Measure resistance between speed control servo/actuator harness connector C171 terminals No. 5 (Light Blue/Black wire) and No. 6 (Dark Green/Orange wire) while pressing speed control SET/ACCEL switch. See Figure . If resistance is 612-748 ohms, replace speed control servo/actuator. Recheck system operation. If resistance is not 612-748 ohms, replace speed control switch. Recheck system operation.
