Programmable Module Installation

Programmable Module Installation (PMI) method is used when a new programmable module is installed. New Generation Star (NGS) tester automatically obtains any valuable module option content information from old module during vehicle ID routine that runs when NGS tester is initially connected to vehicle's Data Link Connector (DLC). It is important to connect NGS tester to DLC and allow it to identify the vehicle and obtain configuration data prior to removing any module.
