Generic Electronic Module (Gem): Notes

CAUTION: Exposure to static electricity can damage GEM internal components. Damage to GEM may result. Ensure GEM is protected from static electrical charges.

NOTE: If installing new GEM, module configuration information must downloaded from existing GEM to scan tool. After new GEM has been installed, use scan tool to upload configuration data to new module.
