Door Lock Switch

- Driver's Door
Remove driver's door lock switch. Using DVOM, check for continuity between driver's door lock switch terminals No. 4 and 6. See Figure . Continuity should exist with door lock switch in LOCK position. Continuity should not exist with switch in any other position. - Check for continuity between driver's door lock switch terminals No. 3 and 4. With door lock switch in UNLOCK position, continuity should exist. Continuity should not exist with door lock switch in any other position. If continuity is as specified, door lock switch is okay. If continuity is not as specified, replace door lock switch.
- Passenger's Door
Remove passenger's door lock switch. Using DVOM, check for continuity between door lock switch terminals No. 1 and 6. See Figure . Continuity should exist with door lock switch in LOCK position. Continuity should not exist with switch in any other position. - Check for continuity between passenger's door lock switch terminals No. 1 and 3. Continuity should exist with door lock switch in LOCK position. Continuity should not exist with door lock switch in any other position. If continuity is as specified, door lock switch is okay. If continuity is not as specified, replace door lock switch.
