Rear Electronics Module (Rem): Notes

CAUTION: Electronic modules are sensitive to static electrical charges. Proper grounding of technician and workplace is essential to prevent damage.
CAUTION: Prior to removal of module, it is necessary to upload module configuration information to New Generation Star (NGS) tester. This information needs to be downloaded into new module once installed. See REAR ELECTRONICS MODULE (REM) PROGRAMMING  under PROGRAMMING.
NOTE: When battery is disconnected and connected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while vehicle relearns it's adaptive strategy. Vehicle may need to be driven 10 miles or more to learn strategy.
