Test C: Single Power Mirror Does Not Function With Switch Logic
NOTE:
Perform all voltage and resistance tests using a Digital Volt-Ohm Meter (DVOM) with a minimum 10-megohm input impedance, unless stated otherwise in test procedure. Use ohmmeter to isolate wiring harness shorts or opens.
- Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Remove appropriate door trim panel. See DOOR TRIM PANEL
under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION in POWER DOOR LOCKS & TRUNK RELEASE article. Disconnect power mirror 5-pin harness connector C560 for driver's side or C622 for passenger's side (If driver's door trim panel is removed, leave power mirror control switch connected). Power mirror connectors C560 or C622 are located under door trim panel. See Figure. Measure voltage or resistance between ground and appropriate power mirror harness connector terminal, with power mirror control switch in the position specified. See POWER MIRROR CONTROL SWITCH CIRCUIT table. See Figure. If voltage and resistance readings are not as specified, go to next step. If voltage and resistance readings are as specified, replace appropriate power mirror motor. See SIDE POWER MIRROR GLASS & MOTOR under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. After repair, clear DTC and test system for normal operation.POWER MIRROR CONTROL SWITCH CIRCUIT

See POWER MIRROR CONTROL SWITCH under COMPONENT TESTS. If power mirror control switch is faulty, replace power mirror control switch. See POWER MIRROR CONTROL SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If power mirror control switch is okay, repair appropriate circuit(s) between power mirror control switch and appropriate power mirror. After repair, clear DTC and test system for normal operation.
