Removal & Installation

NOTE: When replacing GEM, new module must be configured or it will not work in vehicle. See MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK - FOCUS article for configuration procedure.

Disconnect negative battery cable. Open glove box. Remove 3 glove box retaining screws and remove glove box to access module. Unplug GEM connectors. Remove module retaining screws and remove GEM from bracket. To install, reverse removal procedure.
