AUDIO CONTROL MODULE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) INDEX

DTC	Description	Source	Action
B1342	ECU is Defective	Audio Unit	DOCUMENT and CLEAR the DTCs. CARRY OUT the audio control module on-demand self-test. If DTC B1342 is retrieved again, REMOVE the audio unit. REFER to AUDIO UNIT . SEND it to an authorized audio system repair facility. TEST the system for normal operation after the repair.
B2401	Audio Tape Deck Mechanism Fault	Audio Unit	VERIFY that no tape is inserted in the audio unit. DOCUMENT and CLEAR the DTCs. CARRY OUT the audio control module on-demand self-test. If DTC B2401 is retrieved again, REMOVE the audio unit. REFER to AUDIO UNIT . SEND it to an authorized audio system repair facility. TEST the system for normal operation after the repair.
B2403	Audio CD/DJ Internal Fault	Audio Unit	DOCUMENT and CLEAR the DTCs. CARRY OUT the audio control module on-demand self-test. If DTC B2401 is retrieved again, REMOVE the audio unit. REFER to AUDIO UNIT . SEND it to an authorized audio system repair facility. TEST the system for normal operation after the repair.
B2405	Audio Single-Disc CD Player Thermal Shutdown Fault	Audio Unit	Not applicable. The vehicle is not equipped with a single-disc CD. DOCUMENT and CLEAR the DTCs. CARRY OUT the audio control module self-test.
B2406	Audio Single-Disc CD Player Internal Fault	Audio Unit	Not applicable. The vehicle is not equipped with a single-disc CD. DOCUMENT and CLEAR the DTCs. CARRY OUT the audio control module self-test.
B2477	Module Configuration Failure	Audio Unit	REFER to IDENTIFICATION CODES .
U2003	Audio CD/Disc Jockey is Not Responding	Audio Unit	Not applicable. The vehicle is not equipped with a remote CD player. DOCUMENT and CLEAR the DTCs. CARRY OUT the audio control module self-test.
U2005	Audio Rear Integrated Control Panel Unit is Not Responding	Audio Unit	Not applicable. The vehicle is not equipped with a rear auxiliary audio controls. DOCUMENT and CLEAR the DTCs. CARRY OUT the audio control module self-test.
U2008	Audio Phone is Not Responding	Audio Unit	Not applicable. The vehicle is not equipped with an audio phone. DOCUMENT and CLEAR the DTCs. CARRY OUT the audio control module self-test.
