Removal & Installation: Spring: Installation
NOTE:
Final tightening of the shock absorber lower retaining bolt should be carried out when the vehicle weight is on the road wheels.
- Install the spring.
- Attach the shock absorber to the wheel knuckle.
- Install the rear wheel and tire.
- Tighten the shock absorber lower retaining bolt.
CAUTION:
Make sure the top seat mounting is installed, and the spring ends butt correctly against the upper and lower spring seats.
NOTE:
Do not fully tighten the shock absorber lower retaining bolt at this stage.
