Removal & Installation: Spring: Removal

Remove the rear wheel and tire.
Using a suitable coil spring compressor, compress the spring.

Detach the shock absorber from the wheel knuckle.

WARNING: The spring is under extreme tension, care must be taken at all times. Failure to follow this instruction may result in personal injury.

Remove the spring.
If the spring is to be removed from the coil spring compressor, mark the position of the coil spring compressor to the spring to aid installation.
