Pinpoint Test G: Flash Code 2 - STOPLAMP Switch Circuit Failure

CAUTION:
Use the correct probe adapter(s) when making measurements. Failure to use the correct probe adapter(s) may damage the connector.
- G1 CHECK THE HIGH MOUNTED STOPLAMP OPERATION
- Apply and release the brake pedal while observing the high mounted stoplamp.
- Does the high mounted stoplamp operate correctly?
- YES : Go to G2.
- NO : REFER to EXTERIOR LIGHTING article.
- G2 CHECK CIRCUIT CCB08 (VT/WH) FOR AN OPEN
- Disconnect: Speed Control Actuator C122
- While applying the brake pedal, measure the voltage between the speed control actuator C122-4, circuit CCB08 (VT/WH), harness side and ground.
- Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
- YES : INSTALL a new speed control actuator. REFER to Speed Control Actuator . REPEAT the self-test.
- NO : REPAIR the circuit. REPEAT the self-test.
