Removal & Installation

Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove right door scuff plate. Remove pin-type retainer from right side kick panel. Pull right side kick panel rearward (toward seat) to remove. To gain access to PCM, disconnect in-line harness connectors and position aside. See Figure. Remove PCM bracket bolts and bracket. Loosen PCM harness connector bolt and disconnect connector. Remove PCM mounting bolt(s). Remove PCM. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table.
