Fluid Pump Assembly: Disassembly

  1. Remove the pump cover bolts in the sequence shown.

  2. Remove the thrust washer.

  3. Remove the pump cover.

    NOTE: Make an alignment mark between the inner and outer rotor. Do not use a punch to make the alignment mark.
  4. Remove the flange and the inner and outer rotors.
    1. Remove the flange.
    2. Remove the inner rotor.
    3. Remove the outer rotor.

  5. Remove the spool valve plug.

  6. Remove the spool valve washer.

  7. Remove the spool valve spring.

  8. Remove the spool valve.

  9. Remove the oil distributor sleeve seals from the pump cover and discard the seals.
