System Tests: Notes

WARNING: Vehicle is equipped with an air bag system. System must be disabled before working near steering column and instrument cluster to prevent air bag deployment. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article in RESTRAINTS.
CAUTION: Electronic modules are sensitive to static electrical charges. Proper grounding of technician and workplace is essential to prevent damage.
NOTE: A digital volt-ohmmeter is required to test the instrument cluster system. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  for circuit identification.
