Output Shaft Speed (OSS) Sensor: Installation

    NOTE: Apply a light coat of petroleum jelly to the O-ring before installation.
  1. Install the OSS sensor.
    • Connect the OSS sensor electrical connector.

  2. Install the splash shield.

  3. Install the LH front wheel.
  4. Lower vehicle.
  5. Check the transmission fluid level, add fluid as necessary using MERCON®: Multi-Purpose (ATF) Transmission Fluid XT-2-QDX or equivalent meeting MERCON®: specification.
  6. Start the engine and move the transaxle range selector lever through all gear positions.
