Removal and Installation

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
  2. Remove the powertrain control module (PCM) cover.
    1. Loosen the bolt and disconnect the electrical connector.
    2. Remove the nuts and the cover.

  3. Remove the PCM.

  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
