Removal and Installation

Disconnect the battery negative cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT .
Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to JACKING & HOISTING .
Remove the screws and the control module.

NOTE: The 4x2 module cannot be interchanged with the 4x4 module. The 4x4 module is interchangeable with the 4x2 module.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
