Timing Drive Components: Notes

  1. Remove the engine front cover. For additional information, Refer to VALVE COVER RH  in this article.
  2. If antecessor, install a. new variable camshaft timing (VCT) system oil filters. For additional information, Refer to VARIABLE CAMSHAFT TIMING (VCT) SYSTEM OIL FILTER  in this article.
  3. Remove the components in the order indicated in the following 2 illustration and table. To remove individual components, only carry out the listed steps.

  8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
