Generic Electronic Module: Notes

CAUTION:
Disconnect negative battery cable before disconnecting Generic Electronic Module (GEM) connectors. Failure to do so will result in GEM storing erroneous codes and may also result in erratic operation after connection of GEM.
CAUTION:
If replacing GEM, it is necessary to upload module configuration information to New Generation STAR (NGS) tester. After installation this information needs to be downloaded into new GEM.
