Deactivating/Activating Perimeter Lighting Feature

NOTE:
  1. The perimeter lighting feature may also be deactivated/activated using a scan tool.
  2. Make sure the ignition switch is in the OFF position and all doors are closed before beginning this procedure.
  1. Turn the ignition switch from the OFF to the RUN position.
  2. Press the unlock button on the door lock control 3 times.
  3. Turn the ignition switch from the RUN to the OFF position.
  4. Press the unlock button on the door lock control switch 3 times.
  5. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position. The horn chirps one time to indicate that programming mode is entered.
  6. NOTE: The horn chirps once if the perimeter lighting is disabled or a chirp followed by a honk if the perimeter lighting is enabled.
  7. Press the unlock button twice within 5 seconds.
  8. NOTE: The horn chirps once to confirm the procedure is complete.
  9. Turn the ignition switch from the RUN to the OFF position.
