In-Vehicle Temperature Sensor

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Lincoln Blackwood. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

A thermistor in in-vehicle temperature sensor measures air temperature inside passenger compartment. An automatic temperature control sensor hose and elbow is connected between plenum assembly and in-vehicle temperature sensor. Automatic temperature control sensor hose and elbow uses air from plenum assembly air stream to create a suction at in-vehicle temperature sensor. Suction draws air into in-vehicle temperature sensor and across thermistor.
