Pinpoint Test A: No Communication With The Anti-Lock Brake System (Abs) Module

  1. A1 CHECK CIRCUIT 532 (OG/YE) FOR AN OPEN 
    • Key in OFF position.
    • Disconnect: ABS Module C135.
    • Key in ON position.
    • Measure the voltage between ABS module C135-32, circuit 532 (OG/YE), harness side and ground.

    • Is the voltage greater than 10 volts? 

    Yes:  GO to  A2.

    No:  VERIFY smart junction box (SJB) fuse 19 (10A) is OK, If OK, REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.

  2. A2 CHECK CIRCUIT 1203 (BK/LB) FOR AN OPEN 
    • Key in OFF position.
    • Measure the resistance between ABS module C135-38, circuit 1203 (BK/LB), harness side and ground.

    • Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? 

    Yes:  REFER to COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK to continue diagnosis of the communication network.

    No:  REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
