Module - Fuel Delivery: Removal

WARNING: Do not smoke or carry an open flame of any type when working on or near any fuel-related components. Do not work on fuel-related components when the engine is hot. Leaking fuel may contact hot engine components and be ignited, resulting in possible personal injury.
  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
  2. Relieve the fuel pressure; refer to FUEL SYSTEM-GENERAL INFORMATION .
  3. Remove the rear seat cushion assembly; refer to SEATING .
  4. Disconnect the two fuel delivery module electrical connectors.

  5. Remove the four fuel delivery module access cover screws and remove the fuel delivery module access cover.

  6. Remove the fuel line clip and disconnect the fuel line.

  7. Open the fuel delivery module cover.
    1. Remove the retainer ring.
    2. Open the cover.

  8. Remove the fuel delivery module.
    1. Depress the locking tabs.
    2. Remove the module.
