Floor Jack
WARNING:
Do not run the engine when jacking the vehicle. The wheels contacting the ground could cause the vehicle to move. Support the vehicle prior to performing any procedure requiring the vehicle to be jacked off of the ground. Make sure the jack and jack stands are properly located to prevent the vehicle from falling. Wheel chocks should be used to prevent the vehicle from rolling and falling off the jack. The jack provided with the vehicle is intended to be used only in an emergency for changing a deflated tire. Never use the jack for any other purpose.
The front jacking point is located at the transmission support crossmember. See Fig 1 . The rear jacking point is located at the rear floor cross member. See Fig 2 .
