Clearing Codes: Notes

CAUTION:
DO NOT clear DTCs unless instructed to by QUICK TEST or another SYSTEM TEST. DO NOT disconnect vehicle battery to clear DTCs. This will erase operating information from keep alive Random Access Memory (RAM) and driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery.
