Recommended Procedure

However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Inspect fuel system, including fuel tank and fuel lines for kinks, bends and leakage. Repair as necessary. Check oil lines and high pressure oil pump for leaks. Repair as necessary. Inspect cooling system for leaks. Check radiator and heater hoses for leaks. Replace hoses as necessary.
  2. Check MAP sensor for pinched or leaking hose. Replace hose as necessary. On Excursion and Pickup, check Charge Air Cooler (CAC) for pinched or leaking hoses. Replace hoses as necessary. On all models, check Powertrain Control Module (PCM), Injector Driver Module (IDM) and 42-pin in-line harness connectors for damaged pins, corrosion and loose wires. Repair as necessary.
