Alternator: Service and Repair

GENERATOR

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.







2. Release the accessory drive belt tension and remove the belt from the generator pulley.







3. Remove the generator B+ nut and the B+ cable.
- Position the B+ cable cover aside.

4. Position the wiring harness aside.







5. Remove the bolts and the generator.
- Disconnect the voltage regulator electrical connector.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse removal procedure.
