- CARRY OUT the Starter Motor-Motor Feed Circuit and/or the Starter Motor- Ground Circuit. REFER to COMPONENT TESTS .

- The engine does not crank

- Battery.
- Central junction box (CJB) fuse 201 (5A).
- Auxiliary junction box (AJB) fuse 121 (30A).
- Battery junction box (BJB) fuse 422 (20A).
- Ignition switch.
- Starter relay.
- Anti-theft system.
- Circuitry.

- Starter motor.
- Starter motor mounting.
- Incorrect starter motor drive engagements.
|
|
- The starter spins but the engine does not crank
|
|
- INSPECT the starter motor mounting and engagement.
|
- Broken flywheel/ring gear teeth.
|
- INSPECT the flywheel/ring gear for broke, missing or worn teeth. REPAIR as necessary.
