  • Digital transmission range (TR) sensor.

  • The engine cranks slowly

  • Starter motor/solenoid.
  • Circuit.
  • Unusual starter noise
  • Starter mounting.
  • Flexplate.
  • Starter motor.
  • The starter spins but the engine does not crank
  • Starter motor.
  • INSPECT the starter motor mounting and engagement. INSTALL a new starter motor. REFER to STARTER MOTOR .
  • Damaged flexplate teeth.
  • INSPECT the flexplate for damaged, missing or worn teeth. REPAIR as required.
