Removal And Installation

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING article.
- Remove the 2 bolts and the intake manifold shield.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).
- Disconnect the EGR system module tube-to-EGR system module fitting.
- To install, tighten to 43 Nm (32 lb-ft).
- Disconnect the EGR system module tube-to-exhaust manifold fitting.
- To install, tighten to 43 Nm (32 lb-ft).
- Remove the EGR system module tube from the vehicle.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
