Removal and Installation
- Remove the 4 transaxle roll restrictor brace bolts.
- To install, clean the bolts using a wire brush, apply new threadlock to the threads and tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
- Remove the bolt and the transaxle roll restrictor brace.
- To install, clean the bolts using a wire brush, apply new threadlock to the threads and tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
- Disconnect the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system module vacuum tube and electrical connector.
- Disconnect the EGR system module-to-EGR system module tube fitting.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
- Remove the 2 bolts and the EGR system module.
- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE:
When installing the EGR system module, install a new EGR system module gasket with the side with the raised ring facing the intake manifold.
