DTC P0690: Electronic Control Module (ECM)/Powertrain Control Module (Pcm) Power Relay Sense Circuit High

P0690 - ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULE (ECM)/POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM) POWER RELAY SENSE CIRCUIT HIGH

Description:  This diagnostic trouble code (DTC) sets when the passive anti theft system (PATS) system indicates the ignition key is in OFF, ACC, or LOCK position and the ignition switch position run (ISP-R) circuit indicates ON or START position.
Possible Causes: 
  • ISP-R circuit short to voltage in the harness
  • Damaged PATS system
  • Damaged ignition switch
Diagnostic Aids:  Diagnose and repair all PATS DTCs first.
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory 
All GO to Pinpoint Test B .
