Manifold Pressure/Vacuum Sensor: Service and Repair

MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE (MAP) SENSOR







Removal and Installation
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable
2. Disconnect the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove the screw and the MAP sensor.
- To install, tighten to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).

4. NOTE: Lubricate the MAP sensor O-ring seal with clean engine oil.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
