Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the hydraulic control unit (HCU) assembly. For additional information, refer to HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT (HCU)  in this article.
  2. Disconnect the anti-lock brake system (ABS) module electrical connector.
  3. Remove the 6 ABS module-to-HCU screws.
    • To install, tighten to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).
  4. Separate the ABS module from the HCU.
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
