Solenoid Body Assembly: Removal

  1. Remove the transmission fluid pan, gasket and filter. For additional information, refer to Fluid Pan, Gasket and Filter .
    2. Fig 1: Identifying Solenoid Body Electrical Connector

  2. Disconnect the solenoid body electrical connector.

    NOTE: While lowering the solenoid body, the manual valve may fall out of the solenoid body.
  3. Remove the solenoid body.
    1. Disconnect the transmission range (TR) sensor electrical connector.
    2. Remove the solenoid body bolts.
    3. Remove the solenoid body.

  4. Remove the solenoid body gasket.
