Transmission Support CROSSMEMBER: Installation

  1. Position the crossmember to the transmission mount and loosely install the nut.

  3. Install the LH crossmember bracket.

  5. Install the LH crossmember bracket nuts.
    • Tighten to 81 Nm (60 lb-ft).

  7. Install the RH crossmember bracket.

  9. Install the RH crossmember bracket nuts.
    • Tighten to 81 Nm (60 lb-ft).

  11. Tighten the rear insulator nuts to 94 Nm (69 lb-ft).

  13. Install the heat shield screws.
    • Tighten to 20 Nm (15 lb-ft).

  15. Install the wire harness and install the 2 retaining clips to the rear of the crossmember.
