  • CHECK the speed control cable for attachment and sticking or binding.
    • If there is a concern with the speed control cable, REPAIR or INSTALL a new speed control cable. REFER to Speed Control Cable . TEST the system for normal operation.
    • Otherwise, INSTALL a new speed control actuator. REFER to Speed Control Actuator . TEST the system for normal operation.
  • Flash code 1 - flash with last switch pressed, dynamic pull occurs at throttle and the speed control is inoperative

  • INSTALL a new speed control actuator. REFER to Speed Control Actuator . TEST the system for normal operation.
  • The speed control drops out when pressing buttons

  • CHECK for service bulletins related to engine calibration and REPAIR if necessary.

  • The speed control is inoperative when towing a trailer

  • ADVISE the customer that the factory trailer tow wiring harness must be used.
