The starter spins but the engine does not crank	Starter motor	INSPECT the starter motor mounting and engagement. REPAIR as necessary.
The starter spins but the engine does not crank	Damaged flexplate teeth	INSPECT the flexplate for damaged, missing or worn teeth. REPAIR as necessary.
