DRIVER SEAT MODULE (DSM)







Removal and Installation

1. CAUTION: Electronic modules are sensitive to static electrical charges. If exposed to these charges, damage to the module may result.

NOTE: Prior to the removal of the DSM, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to the scan tool.

Upload the module configuration information from the DSM into the scan tool.

2. Disconnect the battery.
3. Remove the driver seat.
4. Remove the DSM screw.
- To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).

5. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the DSM.

6. NOTE: Once the DSM is installed, it is necessary to download the module configuration information from the scan tool into the new DSM.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
